My dad used to sing this to me as a baby. I never realized how much a song meant to me until now. Not only did grow up with music but it’s a huge part of my life. I was never a very social kid in school, I would always get made fun of for the things I couldn’t change. It made me think terribly about myself, the way I dress, my personality, and just the person I dad, the only person who made me feel good, would sing this song. He was not just saying that he’ll be with me forever but I’ll eventually find love. A love that will keep me safe. So when he passes.... I’ll have someone to go too.
