Prediction ("as most people want it") is "absolutely impossible"! Surprising, given that there are probabilistic methods in other sciences that should be applicable - earthquake events are not completely random, surely? Also, I wonder if earthquake forecasting exists (making the contradistinction with "prediction").

You'll find we can predict eq, at least DUTCHSINSE can . Not sure about you muppets !
