Thanks for taking your time to watch my video 😊 This video got picked up and some Swedes have seemed to be offended by some of the words I said. Just wanted to say that I meant no harm this is just a fun first impression video. Also, the language problem hahaha a lot of people had something to say about this one. I respect the Swedish culture and the Swedish language and in the process of learning it myself. I guess that's all from me. Other than that, judge all you want if that can help you brighten ur day 😊

I think I agree with some of what you’re saying, I’m a Swede but I’ve also lived in America for a very long time. Swedes are definitely much more reserved than other countries. I think with Swedes it’s more reserved with strangers but if you befriend a Swede they’ll be great friends for life often. With the language I can understand your surprise at how much we use Swedish but it’s mainly because we stay very close to our culture even if we’ve adopted a lot of American culture as well, mainly in younger people.

Sounds like a really beautiful country. I would enjoy all the green space, instead of more concrete. Thank you for sharing.

Interesting and lovely video!
I found it really interesting that u thought we spoke mainly English in Sweden 😂 But after ur explanation I can see why and I guess there are a couple of countries\cities in Asia that speaks english, India, Singapore, Honkong. And then we have Canada and Australia, USA. (Plz ppl fill me in on the countries I don’t know ❤️)

Good luck with ur Swedish studies!

16-17 degrees in the summer? I live over 1000km north of malmö and we usually have around 25-35 degrees in the summer. You must have had a really bad summer lol.

You should have shown a sign that marks "entrance" while driving, to gas stations etc and what means "End station" where the last station for trains and also buses are.
Very interesting, hrm, words, if reading them in English... 😂😂😂

In case you've missed it there's a pandemic going on so you won't see any normal activities whatsoever in Sweden, or elsewhere in Scandinavia, or the world... City life is calm and quiet for a reason these days. Neighbors do not do visits as usual out of plain care and consideration, and following the health authorities recommendations. You see, under normal conditions neighbors normally hang together just like anywhere else in the world so you would be wise refraining from making assumptions at these utterly trying times. "Swedes speak their own language". In their own country. Well, where else speak one's native language??? Further more just so you know, only the younger generation speak English as their second language as you learn languages in school early nowadays. I recommend you do some research before moving to another country and you don't need to be so surprised. Not speaking on the phone on buses are out of pure politeness and consideration, the other persons don't need to be disturbed by your private conversations on the phone. Sweden is arctic so it is cold most of the year. Much to learn about the world, expect different habits and lifestyles in different parts of the world. All the best.
