Just a chill POV session around some old rusty machinery to test out the Canon RF14-35 F4 and compare it to the RF15-35 F2.8 and RF 16mm F2.8 which I already own.

All images shown are straight out of camera jpegs taken the same day that this video was posted.

Day 26 of the 30-day challenge. Video myself taking photos every day and upload the video and photos the same day!

I have both the 14-35 and the 16. The 14-35 just feels pretty mediocre after coming from Nikon and the 14-24 2.8, the 16 is super cool but I’m almost always shooting them at fully zoomed out and would love a little wider. I just switch to the better 24-70 for anything not super wide angle. Would love if they made a proper 12-24 2.8 something similar, I might just get rid of the 14-35 for now.

Very interesting comparison! I have been looking into all three in the past as well, for more artsy portraits (full body, play with perspective, elongating limbs, etc.) but in the end, the 24-105 F4L still is more useful/flexible for me (I was considering trading it in for the 14-35 F4L). For now, I'll stick with the 24-105 F4L, the 50 F1.2L and the 135 F1.8L for my people photography (black and white model shoots, mostly in studio and indoors).
