Today we cancel the members of the so-called "child-free' movement, where married couples actively don't have children and are proud of it. These people are superficial, materialistic, and selfish.

I'd prefer people who dont want children to just not have kids then. No kid deserves to be raised by someone who just sees them as a burden who ruined their life.

People like this guy validate my childfree decision, not that I need their validation.

I would rather people not have children if they don’t like them. Years ago I babysat for a family of two little boys. During the week, they had a live in nanny. When she wasn’t working, they hired myself and some friends from an agency. The parents complained about the children and how much trouble they were. When I was with them, they were wonderful. I took them to the park and played games with them. They were happy because they were getting attention.

Some people aren't meant to be parents and they are self aware enough to know this. If it's truly about freedom, then let people choose to be child-free.

I am 46 with no children. I thought about adopting as I can’t have kids of my own. I don’t think people should have kids if they can’t care for them. Parenthood is not for everyone and too much abuse going on out there.

Anyone who doesnt want kids, shouldn't. Not all are called to that life. Its ok.

When does he "dismantle" Americans choice to not have kids?

He sounds jealous of all the people who responsibly decided they don't want to have kids and then *gasp* didn't.

Yes, blame those without kids for the downfall of the future rather than the people who actually created kids and are raising them terribly.

“I want to be child free so I can enjoy the freedom to travel and just live my own life.”

“Well it would be quicker and more to the point to just say you’re selfish and materialistic and superficial.”

Matt, in what way is there a “point” that needs to be gotten to “quicker” with you? Why do you feel like you’re owed an explanation and a clarification as to how a bunch of people you don’t know live their lives?

You would no doubt agree that there are millions of parents on this planet who had no business being parents? That continued to procreate while being irresponsible and often abusive parents?

So why do you consider it somehow a worse world a-comin if more and more people are deciding “I have no business being a parent” rather than just begrudgingly starting a family they don’t want because a society of Matt Walsh’s wants them to feel obligated?

That makes exactly as much sense as the fat TikToker who wants you to feel morally obliged to find her attractive.

Ehh gotta disagree with this one. I just plain old don’t want kids and I won’t apologize for it

Not everyone should be a parent though

I can’t understand why some people are so offended by others not wanting children. Like is it going to have a huge impact on your life? No. Let people make their own life choices jeez.

The problem is that selfish, immature people have kids and then they inflict their resentment on the kids.

“Only parents can really say whether happiness increases when you become a parent.”

The issue is that they have chosen to be parents.

It’s like asking a doctor if they’re glad they made the choice to be a doctor. They will say yes, which makes sense because they chose that path. If you took a group of people that had zero interest in becoming a doctor and forced them to become doctors, you’d likely get a different answer.

You can't have it both ways. If responsible adults choose not to have children respect that decision. If you're against abortion, isn't this the better scenario?

Why do you want to have children?
1) They will take care of “me” when I am old
2) They make “me” happy
3) They give “me” a purpose in life
4) They make “my” relationship between my wife and me stronger

So selfless😂😂😂😂

Matt, just because your own happiness capacity increased when you have children doesn’t mean everybody who followed suit would feel the same way. We are all on different paths in life (in spite of many similarities between us) and what works for some doesn’t work for all. Besides, happiness is not a competition, it’s a personal responsibility.

“There will be no trace that you ever existed if you don’t have kids.”

Also him: child free people are selfish

I'm blissfully childfree (53yo) and I'm neither selfish, self-centered or materialistic. I have found many ways to make positive contributions to the world just like you expect childless people will do. if you love children, why would you want people who don't want children to have children?

These kids don't even exist. Let people live their lifes
