Not just the rush, everything was so efficient and strategic in the plays, harass, relic race and sacred site push, very methodical and i feel this “cute little goat hair” ( Chinese player’s name) was playing his game plan out perfectly

Still no chicken in this game. Unbelievable. We get mutton, venison, pork, fish, even beef now. Some unidentified “berries” and I’m assuming wheat from the farms. Maybe corn? But I’ll never take this game seriously until there is a solid poultry option. Even AoE3 had turkey with that silly sound when you shot it with those goofy trombone-looking muskets. And some bird animal named rhea? I’m assuming it tastes like chicken. Maybe more like ostrich given that neck length. Perhaps chicken is included in the “food” you can get through trade in AoE4 but even given that stretch I’m not satisfied. I’m uninstalling tonight.

I wish the chinese would have more options agains HRE.

The HRE can easily spam out MAA in the Feudal Age. The Chinese can't make knights in Feudal so it's easy for the HRE to gain map control over the Chinese. Making at least a few MAA before going for the second town center would have prevented the Chinese delayed Barbican rush.

I find getting out 2-3 archers first thing to their gold forces either a tower/idle time or horseman to which i would go a few spears and then a late BBQ drop outside their base and box them in works well.

Corvinus still had buffed food gatherers and plenty of gold. He should have just gone burgrave instead of regnitz.

Gose regnents with 0 access to wood to build military stuctures and is walled in. Then rather than using the rams to poke a hole on the wall to escape with prelets for relecs targets the barbicen firs and misses his window. I feel like if we went berg his position wouldent of been to bad.

I hate how strong ranged units are when getting hit with a sword. Like once 10 palace guards are up on crossbowmen, they shouldn be able to keep shooting lol.

Aechel Chapel is a very good choise building to age up. However it's only for food since nearby Trees, gold mines and stones will gone. Building Meinwerk not only allows you to avoid build a blacksmith but it give you all the upgrades cheaper.
I always choose the Burgave palace instead of the Cathedral, bcs the Cathedral may gives you good money but you must act fast and find atleast one relic, you will be lucky if a allie friend finds you one. On the other hand, the Burgave trains faster both units and upgrades.
Finaly, i choose the Swabia palace which can train villagers faster. The Elzbach palace i believe is good only for those who are wonder masters and deffender masters.
