Robotic Swimming Lure / Shiner Fishing

Myself & Johnny took the kayaks to the ditch to do some bass fishing for the first time and I wanted to try the Robotic Swimming Lure before switching to shiners. The lure didn't perform as expected so I switched to the shiners within 20 min. It kept getting the line tangled in the hooks.
I will try it again, but not till next season
