The beginning of the Chris Benoit & Kevin Sullivan Feud! 1996 (WCW)

Nitro - (June 3 1996) The beginning of the infamous Sullivan vs Benoit feud in WCW. During this period Sullivan's real life wife Woman (Nancy Benoit) started having an affair with Benoit behind the scenes. She would eventually divorce Sullivan and marry Benoit and leave the wrestling world. Sullivan has often joked in shoot interviews that he "Booked his own divorce" as Kevin Sullivan was one of WCW's top bookers at the time.

The guy was dumb enough to basically put his own wife in the perfect position to leave him. Not sure anyone else in the world or history has been stupid enough to book their own divorce they way he did. He should've never have been mad at Benoit because he set them up together 😂

He also thought Cody Rhodes should never have won the title. Dude is a *genius* 💀

didnt thing go upside down for chris and kevin when nancy had a affair with chris in real life during this storyline then in a match between sullivan and benoit kevin getting his ear drum f'd up . it appears that sullivan was abusing nancy which pissed chris off and she she had to get help from a psychiatrist to get out that marriage with kevin and a huge black eye and said kevin did this to her which i heard on the benoit dark side of the ring episode
