2024 Chevy Trax Activ First Look | Best SUV for $25k?!

These are my first impressions of the new 2024 Chevy Trax Activ in Summit White. The new Trax is posed to disrupt the subcompact space with it's overall value and feature set. Unfortunately, I was only able to spend about 10 minutes with the vehicle but I have already had more hands on time with more videos on the way! Make sure to stay tuned to the channel and subscribe. I am very impressed by this vehicle. I have driven Toyota’s and Honda’s for the last 36 years and take it from me, they don’t build them like they used to! I am retired and rarely drive long trips anymore. Even here in Wisconsin I don’t consider the lack of all wheel drive a dealbreaker. If it’s snowing I usually just stay home.

.. bigger apparently than Trailblazer AND it has a real geared transmission - reliable 6 speed. FWD which is good for lowering maintenance and weight over AWD.

The side air outlets look like they came from a jet engine. The yellow piping on the seats looks out of place.

Never a fan of blacked out wheels (they're made for peeps who don't bother cleaning them on a regular basis). The 1RS trim in Nitro Yellow Metallic, with sunroof, manual seat adjustment and blade stick key! Wish it still had the hand brake--that would be a complete package! Simple is best. Solid review.

its a sham they didnt offer a little more HP. 0-60 in 9.3 can be scary on some HWY on ramps. It will be worse with a family in it.

I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I mean it's better than the last Trax, but just not a great looking vehicle in my eyes.
