Kishi has gone back and forth on whether or not hidan is dead or not with the most recent statement i know of being that he is still alive buried in the nara garden as of boruto which is hellish to imagine.

Hidan was my favorite Naruto character and still is. I wish Akatsuki were expanded on and we saw more of them than their one fight each.

Hidan and Kakuzu was the most bad ass duo in the entire show. It actually set in a sense of fear of how powerful the Akatski was. Honestly no character was portrayed to be near as strong before them.

I remember reading an interesting doujin in which Hidan somehow got freed from his "underground prison" but so much time have passed that he lost all his memories and basically became a calm and caring good guy that was helping the nearby small village and was treated by them like some type of "forest sage/hermit".

Hidan’s laugh is legendary. I had a classmate from my high school days. She had Hidan’s hair. I will take long walks with and play with her hair only because it looks like Hidan and she knew. But I wasn’t in love😅
