FYI, i used def item on Layla for mage type - Athena, Radiant and Oracle
For Physical - Cuirass, Blade armor, Dominance ice

Regardless of what build natan has, the defensive item of choice against him should be athenas and radiant still. Since natans auto attack is magic damage based.

In addition to that, the genius wand reduces magic def, while the item in comparison is DHS where in the higher the hp of the opponent has the better choice it is.

So with given situations its best to modify item build to maximize hero potential. Example for the mage build, since oracle, radiant and athenas provide additional HP stats, go for DHS rather than genius wand, since you’ll gain higher attack speed and additional damage based on opponents HP. Hence melting tanks.

Of course, physical or magic trinity are not your damage based items yet, so the result might varry on how your opponents draft are and how they react to your itemization.

Example, opponent picks natan, i counter with belerick roamer with vengance, if he goes with either trinity, i go with blade armor, if he goes with genuis wand i prioritize radiant armor, if he goes divine glaive i go with athenas.

Mage build is not only for basic attack its for skills damage

Natan is not a Sustained Damage hero
He is a Magic Damage/Explosion hero...
Try this build with high Magic penetration

Well this can melt 70% of all Tank that I have been playing against and it does work very well but, don't stay inside the fight for too much time because at some point Natan will lose it's passive because he'll run out of skills.

If you have Main Tank teammates, I recommend tanks with high CC like Atlas and Tigreal. It will become easier to stack all passives.

I know Natan has been nerfed this last update and they lowed the 1° skill's damage by a lot (before= 1200~1700 full build) (after= 700~1400 full build) but it still a high explosion damage hero.

Marksmen build is almost no damage for Natan
Hybrid is recommended!

Health difference, add athena to "marksman build" since natan still does magic damage primarily, demon hunters does nothing when you're facing low hp enemies.

Everyone dont take this for true as i am writing moontoon made an adjustment Natan and his physical build IS no longer available . He deals way more damage with Magic items than with physical build only
