These binds will not get you vac banned as they are just aliases, however do not use them on faceit or in a tournament as they are not allowed and you can be disqualified.

Follow the instruction in the video and create a cfg in the directory mentioned. Always execute in console to not overwrite your default settings. Make sure the line spacing is maintained properly.

I agree with you. It should be handled in game only. The devs decided where the skill cap/requirement for their game is for a reason. Subverting that design undermines the intended rule set of the competitive play in their game, and should be considered cheating. I use a wooting, and love it. Using hardware with rapid trigger just makes sense. I want my keyboard to deliver precisely what my hands tell it to my character in game. Using a script, or special keypresses that subvert the game's intended design like this "one-key" nonsense or null binds for counter-strafing is a step too far.

The problem is that, they remove parts of the game that requires skill. It's like when does it stop? A new mouse from razer with built in headshot tracking? Oh just get the new mouse bro. It's like golfers having golfballs with tiny motors inside them that will counteract wind and land perfectly everytime, does that sound good? A basketball where everyone shoots like Steph Curry? I get it, a ballmouse from 1999 vs my logitech superlight 2 pro is a massive difference aswell, but I feel like when we start having gear that removes human error is when we will remove the fun of the game. It's like the quote from the incredibles "If everyone is super.. no one will be." What makes difficult things fun and interesting is when you see someone that has given their entire life to perfecting a difficult task, it is astonishing to watch them, but if it's no longer difficult it is also no longer fun or impressive.

I think it should be totally legal if it's just the null bonds but the keyboards shouldn't be allowed. But if you allow the keyboards, then the binds should be allowed, only because it's not fair for someone with a keyboard to be allowed to use these sort of commands, but not allow the binds. It creates an unfair advantage for owners of the keyboards.

i have a hall effect keyboard, and i feel like i perform better with regular counter strafing on it rather than null binds, but on a standard mechanical keyboard null binds are really helpful

I have a Wooting 60HE and cannot confirm this. If I a press A and then D, I stand still. Do I need to change something in the settings of the keyboard? I also don't really know how this would benefit me.

You don't understand, don't be ambiguous. Only razer's snap tap behaves as you say - they got specific permission from ESEA, so really we should be mad at them. Wooting's rappy snappy is not what you describe. Rappy Snappy only inputs the most pressed key, or if both are fully pressed it inputs both. This does not allow one keying unless you were to hold a key at half pressed, which is mechanically difficult itself. It's not the same as null binds and doesn't feel the same at all, your required inputs are the same as before. Most of the time it's preventing accidental inputs, or allowing an instant swap of which key is being input when the most pressed is released. It's good but it's not null binds, it's mostly a QOL thing. It also literally can not be handled by CS unless they implemented analog input support directly, and even then it may have latency issues - as it is, wooting must implement this at a firmware level

I have a wooting 60HE+ keyboard with the updated RappySnappy update which was released today (July 17 2024) and what you show above doesnt work without the aliases. I dont even want to test it with the aliases u typed on the description cause you cant use it anyway (u might get banned specially on faceit)

Saying these keyboards are a cheat is the same as if someone said mice with better sensors were a cheat as well back when they started appearing in the market after the Microsoft Intelli mice. Rapid trigger keyboards display your inputs more truly and accurately, just like a modern mouse does vs an old ball mouse.

does it really make counter strafe easier?
like if i want to counter strafe i stop holding A and tap D at the same time
but with these settings i need to keep holding A, tap D, and release A at the sime time otherwise after i finished tapping D the A input will register again and cause small jitter that will impact the next shots in a burst (instead of the first shots in a normal strafe)
like in any way you look at it you still need to time your counter strafes

I’ve been doing some research and people said faceit wouldn’t Ban over these binds but anything higher like leag or tournaments ok maybe. I believe it should be fine on faceit

If a tournament, or even VAC in the case of using a command, doesn't allow something, then surely it shouldn't be allowed in normal online matches, right?

Also, this is just a personal anecdote, but I have a friend who used cheats in a MWIII private lobby (The old one like 10 years ago) and even in a private lobby with bots just to have fun, his Steam account got a permanent strike. He can play online on CS, but he can no longer get the coins for playtime like the 10 year coin he'd have by now. For me personally, I wouldn't try such things in a private server, but it might be safe. This is just my, and my friends, experience.

this is just different software that's more accurate to what you want, it's like saying surround sound headphones are cheating since you can hear things better directionally since mono and duel channel audio cant

cs players have always been so behind on hardware. still using 400 dpi and logitech gaming keyboards with no features. just imagine how insane pro play would be if all the players used all these things
