Just for a bit of a change, this video is half scam-awareness and half-scambaiting (OK, but really, I had about half a video of material for each thing, so I thought we'd try a mix).

I keep getting those sextortion scams, threatening to release videos of me 'enjoying adult content' to everyone I know if I don't pay. Never paid them and my husband never received the videos of me. He was very much looking forward to receiving and is now very disappointed.

I just discovered that there is something deeply satisfying about correctly guessing the point where the "Are you a small boy" question, which in itself is very satisfying to hear, is uttered.

I was watching someones video about video game reviews, and in it they had a clip of the first Zelda game where they named their character "Warosa" so I asked if it was a reference to Atomic Shrimp, and they said yes. So now you are an easter egg in another video.

I absolutely love the suggestion that somehow them leaking your private illegally-obtained videos would get *you* in trouble legally.

I've been cleaning out some boxes of old stuff moved from my parents' home. Today in one box I found an old original spam. Yes, that's right, a chain letter, addressed by hand, requesting the recipient forward a dollar to each of the four (or five?) people on the list below, whose names and addresses were included. Why this piece of mail was saved I have no idea, but I laughed and said "an original spam!"

I love the emails which claim they've watched me on my webcam as none of my computers (which they specifically mention, not a smartphone or tablet) have webcams!

My company got a sextortion email sent to our support ticket email one time. We all had a good laugh cause it got automatically forwarded to the whole department

I had a scam mail telling me that they'd filmed me whilst enjoying some adult activity online. Joke's on them - I've taped a penny over my inbuilt webcam. And even if they did film me through the screen somehow (lol) all they'd get is footage of me screaming at estate agent listings for lies upon lies and discrimination. 😅

I wonder if that translates to a less random sum in a different denomination.
