Owner review of Land Cruiser 1958 model.
All 3 versions are All wheel drive same engine and chassis.
The 1958 misses lift gate, wireless charging, front camera, ventilated seats and power seats and has 8 inches display.
Disappointments: Gas tank is small 300 miles range, Door interior all cheap plastics, transmission jerks sometimes, but priced 58K!
Nice things: Engine sounds okay, off-road great, shape nice love it, towing 6000 pounds, pretty fast on highway.

Great review, the kind of detailed content most reviewers don’t provide.

Great video !
Welcome to the new reality … these are the price and quality now days. I bought a 1958
And I love it ( you forgot the remote starter, I did a short video of that) if you want quality and inmortal car go to vintage I have a porsche356c (60 years old and need nothing, also came with disc break) and a Rolex explorer 1967 and running like the 356. The 1958 is my new daily drive. I have 28.5 mpg on highway and 24on city and the cloth seat are amazing. If we talk about price I would rather pay 30k and a house for 150k but those days are over.
Quality … look around and tell me, do we have the best quality on customer service, banking, health and insurance? .The term “affordable “ is gone
But this could qualify compare with the predecessor.

I understand this is the base model, but this vehicle looks so much cheaper than the outgoing model. It looks like a bigger RAV4. Miss the old LC, with a mix of luxury and off road capabilities. Great review Mike

Many people seem to not realize that the 2008-2022 Land Cruiser did not sell well at all and was close 90k in price…The 2024 Land Cruiser sold more in one year than the outgoing model sold in its last 7-8 years of production…

God this looks cheap inside out. Even the digital dash looks laggy as the rev counter dial goes up and down! 31:05 - 31:21 Toyota definitely saved their $$ by implementing a 30Hz screen.

Those "bulges" you speak of that cramp up your leg room, I believe those are padded on the upper trims.

They seal the top of the engine compartment because that is a extremely noisy motor for a gas engine it sound like a diesel.
