Lord Huron is great, I think you'll like that one, Matt!

@matt, my opinion as a biologist is that the blackbird probably has a nest very close to where you walked and it was being defensive of that

You know what, after all these years it still brings me joy when you say my user name... I especially like the rhythm with which Matt says it. B-A ... MikeyD. Always brings a smile.

My sister got me into Lord Huron last year. Strange Trails was probably my favorite album I listened to in 2019, and it's quickly become one of my all-time favorite albums. Meet Me in the Woods (which has become one of my favorite songs overall) was the song she introduced them with. I'm not really into indie music, but those guys are great.

Love Lord Huron. Saw them a few years ago at The Riverside-- great show, and Leon Bridges opened things up. Gotta love folksy stuff, though!

My favorite "Guilty Pleasure" is "Spice World". My sister and I loved it so much that we saw it twice in the theatre and then bought the DVD to watch many more times

Hi! the only person who liked Lost in Space reporting for duty. I know it's probably awful but I liked it as a kid and I still like it today.

This must be the first time anyone's tried to sort out the "canon" of the Beethoven movies.

Nobody hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans

I love red wing blackbirds ❤️ but they are probably attacking because their young are nearby in a nest.

I take the position that fandom is inherently toxic.

Matt and Craig, please watch the Nutcracker and the four realms and then try to make sense of it for me.

Personally, I've replaced the phrase "guilty pleasure" with two different phrases depending on why the movie causes "guilt". If it's just a cheesy, dumb, lacking major depth, or just plain bad but I still love it, then it's a "lizard-brain recommendation". But if the guilt comes from the fact that it is somehow connected to unfortunate realities (e.g. directed by someone we have since learned is was a sexual predator) or prominently features scenes or ideas that have aged poorly then it's a "problematic fave".

Matt, I was just wondering if you have some sort of online list or catalog of your records? I wouldn't like to send something you've already got.
