#4 Missouri vs. #8 Kansas: Marucs Denmon Game-Winning Shot (Best Angle)

Marcus Denmon hit three 3-pointers in the final 2:05, the last for the go-ahead points, as No. 4 Missouri fought off No. 8 Kansas 74-71. The go-ahead 3-pointer came with 56 seconds to go for a one-point lead. Michael Dixon added a pair of free throws with 9.8 seconds left after an offensive foul on Tyshawn Taylor and Kansas' Elijah Johnson missed badly on a shot to tie it at the buzzer. Missouri (21-2, 8-2 Big 12) beat Kansas for only the second time in the last 12 meetings, and the Tigers' impending departure for the SEC added spice to the final conference meeting in Columbia, Mo.

@djdunn24, You honestly think that Big 12 officials will call anything close in favor of Mizzou, especially since we're leaving for the SEC? Maybe, instead of focusing on the refs, you should focus on your teams success (or lack there of) at the free throw line. Shooting 55% from the line and only out rebounding a team that you have a considerable size advantage on by 3 won't win you close games like that.

You honestly think that any person left in the Big 12 wants to see Missouri or Texas A&M succeed? Our strength of schedule will not be bad considering we are playing Cal, Syracuse, Kentucky, Florida, and teams in the Atlantis Tourney such as Duke, Louisville, VCU, Memphis, or Minnesota.

says a biased MU fan..there is no real difference in KU and MU fans..people are people, there are MU fans that can act civilized and realize its only a game, and KU has fans that act the same...same as both schools have fans that act like animals and take the games personally..i live in KC, and i can tell you ive seen both kind of fans from both sides of the state line
