Was there last week for the Iowa St. game with a buddy of mine who snagged 9th-row tickets. For free! Been watching games there since my Freshman year in 1973-74 when we beat K-State for the Big 8 Championship on a warm March night and saw my first streakers. We sat in those first two rows of the student section at the North end back then. Went to the Final Four that year. I get very emotional watching the intro videos these days. When you can bring tears to a 66 year old man's eyes, that is some serious energy being generated in the house that Naismith and Allen built. The temple of basketball.

Those MU players had to have been like, 'wtf? why they hate us so much? we were kids the last time this rivalry mattered.' I love it. Can't wait to see KU playing in Columbia later this year.

I received tickets to this game for my birthday. Best freaking present ever, and I had the best time showing my Arkansas-grad fiancé what a basketball Border War is all about 😎

Student section isn’t as good as it used to be. Not all their fault since KU keeps taking more and more of the section for donors but it just isn’t as crazy energetic as it once was
