At some stage over the passing of the centuries, we've lost a lot of ancient knowledge. Some people think there must have been lost civilizations who once walked the face of the Earth, and all that remains of them now are their artifacts, which we're unable to understand or explain. Others feel that we simply aren't as spiritually wise or architecturally clever as we used to be, and so we no longer understand the purpose behind what our ancestors did or how they did it. Either way, the planet is covered in stunning mysteries, and here's a whole collection of them for you to gaze upon in wonder!

Why do people presume ancient cultures to be less sophisticated and intelligent than modern humans? Are we not all standing on the shoulders of Giants? I totally agree with a a.

The script is a clear snapshot into the current paradigm of “accepted academic narrative”. It’s clear, without going too deep into research, that the majority of our historical narrative is highly inaccurate, ignoring thousands of archaeological connections that continue to contest said narrative. I can’t wait for the day when we can finally overcome these “experts” holding back the progress and understanding of our ancient past. Let’s stop viewing these things as “enigmas” and “anomalies” due to the construct of old narratives and start giving these builders the objective credit they deserve with the understanding that they weren’t primitive, that our past indubitably extends farther than we understand and proves incontestably more sophistication than given credit to.

"Perhaps we no longer understand the purpose behind what our ancestors build"

Yeah, no shit, Sherlock. In 50 years most people won't understand what an audiocassette is, imagine what can be forgotten in 5000.

Great content! Good narration. However, the clips of random movies that are wildly inaccurate to the subjects, is kind of pathetic.

Man: "Sir! I just finished the most exquisite and masterfully crafted armor I've ever created"

Sergeant: "By Gods man! Get an octopus in that thing! Nobody will be able to defeat us now!"

"Stonehenge ... isn't as unique as we once thought it was either. We now know that a similar stone circle was build in Stonehenge".

Wait, what?

As Potting Soil infers below, the strange thing is not the exo-skeletons but the supposed tentacled creatures inside them. The "exo-skeletons" look very like suits of armor appropriate for the Medici period. At 4:24, the "tentacled creature" is likely a human spinal column of a corpse that has been decapitated.

the "worm-like being" is their representation of the trachea as obviously the figure was decapitated.

Every time I hear "the first time man has" I get skeptical. We are so arrogant in our opinion some time.
