Good work. I sprayed them with red kote, then when healing up switch to the blue kote.

Historically we havent much luck with our roos. They ended up jumping and flapping at me, my wife, and our kiddos. Thankfully they didnt have their spurs yet. Those roos were handled as chicks. Now, with some of hens going broody, weve had three roos that turned out great so far! Ended up gifting a roo to some friends and the other two have not once shown aggression towards the family. Were finding out the roos we hadnt handled as chicks probably are a lot more cautious with us and dont bother us.
Though the dominant of two was freaking out at me when i had to wrangle a bird to care for her bumblefoot, you could tell he did not wanna mess with me but felt he had a job to do. Good boy 😂

That is unusual for a rooster to get picked on by hens.

I had a gentle rooster like that. Treasure him theyre not all like that.
