Come with us to our first Tanabata Matsuri (Star Festival) a traditional Japanese festival where you hang paper wishes "Tanzaku" on a Bamboo branch and celebrate the stars of Orihime(Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair). This time we went to the street festival of Shitamachi followed by the festivities of the beautiful Sensō-ji temple where we had a surprise live performance of an acrobat monkey!
