Japanese Taiko Performance at the Shitamachi Tanabata Matsuri in Tokyo

An absolutely lovely taiko percussion performance at the Shitamachi Tanabata Festival (下町七夕祭り) between Asakusa and Ueno.

Taiko (太鼓) is in general the Japanese term for drum, but it is also used to describe the Japanese style of percussion, which is shown in this video.
