King is very brave for facing the Cadres to save Genos and the other heroes even though he knows he doesn't stand a chance. He's a true Hero.

I think my favorite moment is when he is asked to cut an apple by atomic samurai, and after sitting there for two minutes being unable to unsheathe the sword, he just puts it down and leaves. While he could actually barely lift the sword, atomic samurai though that King cut with such power, speed, and precision that atomic samurai and even the apple didn't notice the cut.

King doesn’t need luck
Luck needs King

My grandpa said this one time.
"A King is not a man who fights, but a man who's presence is followed by overwelming morale.'
I guess he was sorta right, lol

King = No Punch Man

So King is basically the living embodiment of Sun Tzu's teaching in the Art of War, that the greatest skill is not when you can defeat a hundred enemies, but when you can defeat them without even a fight. Truly an absolute power!!

I've read some theories that the name king is derived from chess, like in chess the piece "King" is the most important but weakest of them all. The king was served by more powerful allies like rook, knight, queen etc. That's how the power of king works, he doesn't need to move and do effort but his minions are the one moving for him.

in some way, King can be seen as the antithesis of saitama. one has unlimited physical strength and no charisma. the other has no physical strength and unlimited charisma. but in both cases they are unbeatable

King's ability is he has "full control of his reaction". The opponent not sensing anything from him assumes King is incredibly confident in his ability to annihilate any character.

King has the power of plot armor, therefore he is the strongest character in fiction

King can resolve conflicts without using violence. Even the evil-doer is spared and given a second chance to be a better person. King is a true hero.

Simplest of analogies: He is literally the King in a Chess Game. He unites his army around him as he directs the battlefield all while everyone defends him.

Kings power is FEAR he legit puts enemies through FEAR while at the same time his heart beats so fast due to his own FEAR that it rallies allies like a battle drum.

I believe that king actually plays an important part in Saitama having fun being a hero again. He gives Saitama alot of wisdom at the end of season 1 and throughout season 2.

Not only enemies but allies as well, even the super prideful Tatsumaki complimented him(something she hadn’t done for anybody else up to that point) and has absolute trust in his abilities even tho she never saw him in action. The enemies fear him and his allies just can’t hate him, dude is an actual chad

King has Conqueror's Haki from One Piece. He's so strong he obtains abilities from other mangas.

the fact that king's heartbeat can be clearly heard means his heart has to at LEAST be thousands of times stronger than a normal human heart

king *most definitely has some kind of power*

I think king might be the strongest because of this ability to summon, they possibly have no control over this. Saitama ending up in his apartment to stop the giant crow. Always been my favorite. Luck, fear, Saitama is the only one strong enough to see through the fear and admiration but still can't seem to avoid being summoned

i love his character development in the webcomic so far. he listened to saitama's advice and decided to train and become strong for real. it's too bad that because of his reputation, silverfang didn't believe a word when king admitted to having no powers, and that no dojo wanted to help king train

I feel like the clue that’s shown right off the bat is that in video games, the character fighting on his behalf always wins. It seems like it’s just comedy and a reason for him and Saitama to interact regularly but it fits with both his name and the “luck”. It also seems to point to more than just a motivating presence and that anyone who fights on his behalf becomes as unbeatable as he is. The more we see, the more that the name “king” seems to make perfect sense for his abilities.
