Never understood why people would pay a premium extra price to be a beta tester for a game. Especially a single payer game where starting early really means nothing.

If you're paying double price to play 3 days early, you get what's coming to you. There is literally no reason to ever pay a premium to play a few days before other people. Especially in a single player game. Moreover, it goes to show people still refuse to buy into ubi+, or whatever it's called now.
