First Images of Exoplanets - What We’ve Found?

Показать описание
In the past year alone, researchers succeeded in detecting 201 new exoplanets. This brings the list of planets located outside our home solar system and gravitationally bound to another host star to over 4,900. As is well known, the search for extrasolar planets is always subject to a central question: Are the alien celestial bodies possibly habitable? While the experts have not yet been able to record a galactic bull's eye in this respect, another milestone has been reached, in the case of some exoplanets: direct imaging of the distant celestial body. Which 10 objects have already been imaged directly, and what we could find out about the characteristics of the corresponding bodies, we’ll reveal to you now!

Has anyone ever looked more closely at the super hot Jupiter for moons that maybe habital? Temp and extra protection from host planet magnetic spheres? I know exoplanets are hard to fine anyway. Moons maybe impossible. But our own Jupiter has 81 moons?

I understand it is important to show the images with color, but is that possible to show the natural images as well? I believe that is how things are up there black and white, or Am I wrong? Thank you for your fantastic job

There has to be intelligent life elsewhere, we cannot be the only ones !

Exactly. The object WD 0806-661b should be a Sub-Brown Dwarf/Planetary Mass Object because it's mass of this object is about 7 to 9 masses of Jupiter which is far too small to be considered a Regular Brown Dwarf which is about 13 jupiter masses

They don't have a very large Moon 1/4 the size of the planet to create tidal flow for marine habitat.

It will be amazing when we can observe Exo-Satellites. As I watched this I wondered if some of these super Jupiter's could support a body smaller than Earth with conditions for liquid water.
If the Jovian system were where Mars is in our solar system, I wonder how the moons would have developed.

Nothing like a planet that is 6000 degrees.... Worth watching.

I am a bit envious of the next couple of generations, we are on the verge of finding intelligent life, and the technology to communicate with them .I firmly believe in the next 50 to 100 years we will be able to travel to other systems

Please use consistent temperature units. Great video apart from that though.

May the odds be forever in our favor. It’s impossible that earth is the only planet with intelligent life with the amount of galaxies and stars out there.

Hope the other supposedly intelligent life elsewhere is also searching for us!

Who says humans are intelligent, if you consider what they do to each other

Maybe if we point the JW telescope at them, we might be able to see what they are showing us.

The search came to the conclusion that there is no life on any of them

What’s scarier? That we are alone or that we are not?

Is the narration done by a computerised voice? 🤔
