XLOOKUP Only Returns First Value | XLOOKUP Return all Matches Vertically Or All Matches in One Cell

In this Microsoft Excel video tutorial I demonstrate how to get XLOOKUP to return all matches instead of just the first value. The trick here is not to use XLOOKUP but use the FILTER function instead. Matches can either be displayed vertically or horizontally. Matches can also be displayed in a single cell using the TEXTJOIN function.

Table of Contents:

00:00 - Introduction
00:36 - Use the FILTER function not XLOOKUP
01:28 - Display all results in one cell using the TEXTJOIN function

Awesome video, works great!!.You can even add a UNIQUE function so that it doesn´t show any repeated elements. Thanks a lot!

This is great but what if you dont want to use data validation and instead want to make a new list where the value "Bill" is repeated and you want each entry to have its corresponding value. I was successful in making the name list with repeating entries but the numbers only match the first value and not the exact vlaue for each entry. Please help.
