That's a nice one! I've never been a huge fan of trailing points, either. But, the last couple of years, the trailing points that have been coming out, from a lot of makers, really grab my attention.

Loved the video, TY.
That design reminds me of my TwoSun - Night Morning Design. They have some amazing knives, for the money. This one is around 8 yrs as an EDC & still wonderful & smooth. The D2 is still as annoying to reprofile but is dependable at 600 grit & a stropping.

Artisan scores some cool designs in excellent materials, but they fall behind in 3 main areas for me: 1) No captive pivots. At this price, they should have them. 2) Sharpness. Like your sample here, I got a premium Frack and it was so dull it wouldn't even cut paper out of the box. 3) Complete and utter lack of customer support. Once you give them your money and get one of their knives, you are on your own. Should there be an issue, hopefully you'll have a dealer that can help you...if you bought direct you are S.O.o.L.

Ya know what's even better. A drop point. No excuses, if a stupid design from hundreds of years ago appeals to you, go for it. Practicality dictates its a looser. Too many free knives has made you soft and irrelevant.

No no no, the pocket knife world isnt allowed to just steal the term "artisan cutlery" off the backs of actualy cutlery makers who have generations of knife forging knowledge who spend many many hours hand forging and grinding the best kitchen knives in the world. Certainly not some fidget flipper knife from China stamped out of sheet steel. It needs to be called out. Cutlery is knives, forke and spoons used for preparing or eating food, NOT friggin self defence! Oh please... 🤦‍♂️
