Just got a limited run of this at Blade Show West with Magnacut. Absolutely killer micro milling design on the scales, I had like 3 other knives in mind and then I saw this and instantly spent my money on it instead 😂

I’ve had this since it dropped, as I’ve said before, Ray is one of my favorite designers

Thus far, it’s a favorite daily driver
The coating has been pretty tough thus far
It’s a comfortable and simple knife, will it win any awards?
Probably only one

Not just in the materials, but the ease of use and reliability
It would be tough to sell anyone anything else from a strictly utilitarian standpoint, after owning this for a while

S90V is a pain to sharpen compared to like, D2
But I haven’t had a real issue with it, just takes longer is all

Boy do I love the blasted blade with whatever color that is on the scales. I assume it's anodized. I see myself picking one of these up at some point. If that had a finger choil, I may be ordering it right now. It's just gorgeous.

Sweet knife, definitely want more in my collection like this. S90v is a great steal tho i tend to gravitate tords s35vn (less chance of chipping, and easier to maintain) but that might make it into my rotation

I think this is gonna be my next purchase. I fell in love with the CJRB Prado, but wished they had a more premium version. This is more than close enough!

I always hear you talk about median or average thickness of blade stock being .135", and every time I think you're affection for overbuilt knives skews that up. Most of the knives I own are .120" or less. I have 150+ knives, and very few have blade stock over .120". Some like the Dragonfly and Chaparral are much thinner.

Love your content! Have to disagree on the ambi argument. If making a knife ambidextrous will impede on the design I see no issue. They should however make a lefty model as well 😂😂. Cheers!

It's so gorgeous I remember how Russell from Artisan went on about it at the expos before it came out haha!

What really annoys me about it is the butt end of that blade (don't know what that is called but it is the part MC used as a top flipper) how it sticks up over the top of the scale.
It looks bad enough were I thought it was a mistake at first.

It does not fit with the designers (can't spell his name of the top of the dome) great eye for lines.

Really really annoys me tbh.

I got one a month ago and the blade is already rusting just from it being in my pocket. It’s a great knife other than that
