Narnia’s Special Turkish Delights😍
(No bake desserts episode 16)

These Turkish delights have been my favourite no bake desserts since years now, and although it can be slightly difficult to make, it’s surely rewarding!

Ingredients
For sugar syrup-
2 cups granulated sugar
3/4th cups water
Boil on low medium flame till it reaches 116 degrees C (soft ball stage) Keep aside
In a Saucepan, take 1/2 Cup corn flour, 1 Tsp cream of tartar, and add 1.5 cups water gradually!
After the mixture is lump free, turn on the flame(medium) and whisk constantly till a paste is formed. Start adding sugar syrup to it while whisking constantly.
After that lower the flame and keep whisking occasionally until the mixture turns into a light golden colour!
Then add 2 tbsp rose water (or flavouring Of Choice) and 3-4 drops food colour (red)
Then pour into a square mould lined with cling wrap.
Let it cool at room temp for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Then make a mixture using corn flour and icing sugar (1:1 ratio), use this mixture to dust the Turkish delight and cut it into pieces. Then coat all pieces with the mixture and store at room temp in an air tight container!

I have used red food colour by @magiccoloursindia as usual and it turned out lovely!
