Blanket training is so weird. It’s basically obedience training for your baby. As a parent, how do you look at your literal tiny baby and think “if you crawl off this blanket you’re getting smacked, and you’ll have no idea why.. because you’re a tiny baby.” It’s bizarre, cruel, absolutely pointless and dare I say ineffective? Let a baby be a baby for the love of god .

The grandparents definitely could’ve come home! Some of my close friends had family emergencies while on their mission and were given the opportunity to come home. Some took it, others didn’t. Older couple missionaries are given even more options to come home. Some will come home for the birth of a grand child, baptisms etc. The fact that they only came home for a very brief moment tells you EVERYTHING that you need to know!

My Auntie fought for me. She let me know she was always there for me if I needed her so when I truly needed her I knew where I could go. She took me in and gained custody of me. She has been more of a grandparent to my children than my biological parents ever were.

I will never stop saying this, Bonnie got full body elective surgery, without telling her children! She left and went under the knife with massive surgery for no reason other than looks, could had died, and didn't tell them before she went. She didn't prep them for what she would look like when she came home, full of drains and bruises and unable to wipe her own butt, in massive pain, she just walked in and traumatized those little kids AND FILMED IT because she is selfish. She is not a mother she is a monster

Not a parent, I’m a teacher but thank you so much for your efforts in protecting children and for using your platform to show the damage and toxicity of these family blogging channels.

I too have seen my share of unsafe home environments. Unfortunately the worst outcomes tend to come from families that stop bringing or otherwise remove their kids from school. To me that is the biggest red flag. Yes, homeschooling is a thing but everyone’s alarm should go off when a kid is yanked out of sight from any adults trying to protect them.

You don’t get to say “I think they’ll be okay”. They were tortured and manipulated their whole life. They had their childhood taken from them. They had their privacy taken from them. “I think they’ll be okay”…it doesn’t work that way

I was in Sheri’s position when I was 19. My brother was 7. I as a teenager fought this battle. I barley had my first apartment and was actually still in highschool but I was lucky enough to keep my brother from entering the system. I’m not saying it was easy but it was absolutely worth it. I worked my butt off to give him a better life and I was barely a legal adult. Sadly none of our family stepped up for him other than me so unfortunately I think it’s common for family to respond like this. It was heartbreaking and frustrating to having our family say how hard his life was and how it was hard to watch before I stepped up when they had the resources more available then I did and for years prior to me. I will still never understand how my teenage self knew to step up when the adults in our lives didn’t.

The fake crying and emotions is so annoying! Any decent person knows if they had a niece or nephew, or family member that was being mistreated, they would try to do something about it. I know I sure wouldn't just sit quietly if I was in that position.

“THOSE KIDS”! ARE YOU SERIOUS. That’s your niece and nephew! I’d fight for them just like my own children if they were mine. I take being an aunt seriously. I’m honored to have mine in my life! It comes with responsibility if you ask me.

The fact that Bonnie promoted and did a whole video on how she does blanket training (you tempt a child with a toy and every time they crawl off the blanket you hit them) is all I need to know.
The mormon church uses the promise of family to lure people in. But they dont care about kids at all.

I can say that Ellie seems to be the least strict parent out of the sisters. But she also just may not show her disciplining her kids. But BONNIE?? Her and ruby are two peas in a pod. Everyone in that family except Sherri failed those kids. She’s the only one who tried to get them help
