Is Our Narrowboat Life At Risk? This is Our Game Plan #234

The future of having a Narrowboat Life as a Continuous Cruiser is up in the air at the moment as Canal and River Trust consult on the boat licences. In addition to this, the waterways are under a lot of pressure from breaches, to low waters and general repairs. All this, leaves us feeling that we need to make a back up game plan incase our narrowboat life has to change. I reveal what this game plan is as we cruise and move our narrowboat home to an island in a dolomite gorge. Sit back, relax and enjoy. Take care 🦋🌻

I lost my wife of 43 years a year and a half ago. It has left me with a deep sadness and loneliness. I was born in England in 1951 and moved to the states in 1959. But I don't think the country of your birth ever really leaves you. Your meanderings through the British country side via the canals and rivers with it's scenery, along with your narrations of the area, the wildlife, and the history never fails to bring me a little peace.
