I wish they had spent more time in the Underworld. It was treated as a pitstop more than anything. Yes, the movie is basically a road(boat?) trip story, but the Underwrold was too in-and-out.

I would have liked to see the scene when toddler Moana almost drowns in the movie because it would give her father more of a reason to keep her away from the ocean.

I'm glad Pua was left out, it avoided the cute sidekick trope and replaced it with the inept idiot sidekick. It adds comic relief and Alan Tudyk voicing a ridiculous rooster is brilliant.

I love the concept of Maui having a goddess as a grandma and that she guards the underworld and I like that Ta Kai's name is different. I'm glad that Moana does not have 9 brothers as she wouldn't meet Maui. Love your videos!

- Wish they'd included more monsters on the journey to make that little trip to the underworld seem less out of place

I love seeing all these ideas that they had. I really think they made appropriate cuts and the movie is amazing thanks to their good sense of story telling.

I find it really interesting that the creators originally wanted Moana to have brothers. Furthermore, it seems like the idea of having Moana have 9 brothers originated from the Chinese folk tale 10 Brothers. Awesome vid, I love Moana so much! (:
