Really felt bad for the panthers that year Jake Delhomme really had a good season. I wish he won a super bowl ring.

This was the first NFL game that I ever watched. Its the game that made me a Panthers fan. 6 year old me was jumping around the living room with my family cheering on the Panthers. It was a heartbreaking loss. I was honestly hoping that the Broncos lost against the Patriots so we could've had a repeat of this game at Super Bowl 50. But that time it be Brady vs Newton.

Can we take a moment to recognize Mike Vrabel's receptions were only touchdown passes... 12 TDs on 12 receptions

Absolutely the most underrated Super Bowl. It’s remembered more for two seconds of infamy at halftime than the actual game. Casual fans will remember Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake from the halftime show, but a lot of them couldn’t tell you who played in the game. That’s the very definition of underrated…

This truly was 1 of the best super bowls I've ever seen. A true shootout in the 2nd half. Although it ended on a clichė, field goal kick, u truly did not know who was gonna pull out the "W".

This is like the perfect super bowl for all football fans. You’ll love most of the first half if you’re a defense fan. If you like shootouts you’ll enjoy the second half and everyone likes games that come down to the wire. I’m not saying it’s the best super bowl but it’s got something for every fan

Why I hate NFL network.... If u are not a hall of famer then u aren't good according to them. Delhomme was a damn good QB, especially in his first 5 years as the Panthers QB

I agree. Still my favorite season if I'm being honest. Butlers pick and 28-3 is special but the 03 season was so crazy. OT in Miami, intentional safety in Denver of all places, goalline stand in Indy plus so much more

Greatest SB ever to me. It had strong defensive first half then an offensive shootout in the 4th Q

Adam Vinatieri is still playing today, let that sink in.

Jake Delhomme pre-botched 2007 Tommy John surgery was a beast. Some of those throws were astronomical and on the biggest of stages as well.

The whole 2003 season was a wind of change. The 2 teams from last year's Super Bowl not only failed to return to the playoffs, but the Bucs and especially the Raiders really stunk up the joint. In fact, the Raiders really stunk up the joint for the next several years.
