Europe Turns UN Blue for #UN75

To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, UNRIC launched the #EuropeTurnsUNBlue initiative.

For this pan-European campaign, on a continent where many of the UN’s founding members are located, many of Europe's most iconic buildings and monuments, bridges, airports, museums, and other landmarks lit up blue, the official colour of the United Nations, on 24 October 2020, to observe UN Day.

This year, the day marks the 75th anniversary of the entry into force in 1945 of the UN Charter.
