Building nightstands

A minimalist cantilevered nightstand. Fits well over a baseboard heater but also wouldn't block a heat register underneath. And has enough room under it for a wastebasket or something else.

My sister is building a house in the future. Showed this to her, and she loves the design. So I guess I'm ordering the plans soon... lol. I won't be able to resist making it my own, though.

I wasn't sure about the raised trim around the top then I remembered how often I manage to knock my my glasses into the crack between the bed and night stand.

I like that the trim forms raised fiddles around the top edge. Stops glasses, phones and stuff from falling.
