I have probably that exact same style vanity with the vanity mirror on a forward/ backward tilt.
It’s super old and belonged to my deceased mother in law. The drawers stick from weathering and age and there are dings and scratches in it. I want to restore it for my wife, but I really don’t want to paint it. Thinking of sanding it down and refinishing it with a nice light stain and lacquer.

I'm curious as to why you painted with the drawers in? I was always taught they should be removed to get the most professional results.

This is a typical makeup behavior. Put colors on it and it looks good, for a short period. Sorry, but that was a really bad work.
