First time I'm considering a Vivo phone, this looks like it could be the the one, all the specs on it look on point, what a beast

This is such a big improvement from Vivo--and it won my heart ultimately. They realized that the bokeh effect could NEVER be perfectly replicated by computation. They needed good components, and they delivered. Whatever was put into these phones and whatever Zeiss did, it certainly worked. I'm definitely considering buying this!

Vivo has constantly been pushing the limits of hardware and software for mobile photography and I love it. This is such a beautiful phone and a contender for phone camera of the year.

That''s some amazing stuff. Over the past two years, I've been looking for a replacement for my Huawei Mate 40 Pro, and the X90 Pro was the ONLY flagship I found that I thought could match it in terms of main camera performance - with natural looking pictures and subtle output sharpening and de-noising. The problem with the 80 and 90 is the lower quality telephoto. So I got a newer Huawei.

But my beef with the newer Huaweis is that they have the new 1/2" sensor but too much sharpening. This Vivo seems to treat it the same way as the main camera. And they have a 1" sensor for the main, to boot! This goes to the top of my list for 2024!

I don't know what to choose - Xiaomi 13 Ultra or Vivo x100 pro. The biggest issue with the Xiaomi is that the image colours change when switching between lenses and it's visible in the videos. Vivo doesn't have this problem, but I don't know about the other options

OMG... Some of the best photos quality taken by a smartphone.. And the color is more or less the same across all lenses? That's the first on any smartphone out there... Hope they will bring this to Indonesia... The last vivo flagship sold here is X80 Pro Plus... So sad..

Thanks for the great test. These images are outstanding! Real Zeiss deep colours and high Zeiss micro contrast with real sharp photographic details. These are real life like beautiful threedimensional photos. I love them!

There are miles in image quality between these beautiful vibrant realistic "3D Popping" images and those mediocre images of most other smartphones e.g those soft, flat, low contrast and completely unnatural overprocessed images of the pixel 9 (and 6, 7, 8).
