there is some secrets in the balista room too, u can use a item called pharos something to reveal a hidden wall in there, just hit the wall. and there is a locked door in te same place, just hit the door, and the enemy on the other side will open the door.

To open the 2nd secret door you have to press X or A. Make sure you are in the right spot and it should work.

you can climb ladder faster if you hold sprint button, if you didnt know

At the cave where you find the fire longsword next to the flame spitting toad there is another secret.
If you kill the toad by sniping it with poison arrows you can jump through the bars into a fiery cave. Snipe the other toads and grab some pretty decent loot including a hawk ring which increases bow range. The cave connects to the door right next to where the last giant is. So you can skip most of the area in NG+ by doing this because the toads are too tough to kill on the first playthrough.

That bonfire wall-explosion shortcut is gonna be helpful in fighting the pursuer

theres a spot to the right where all the bows are facing you and monster drop down and behind a hidden wall theres a ring that makes you regain stam super fast

Weight do I need to use enemies to break the? Is when I tried to break the one in that locked up area I couldn't break it myself so does that mean I need to lure some of the enemies into doing it?

You can sprint up ladders by holding O and up but be careful if you just press O you will jump off ladder, to slide down O and down

Thanks mate. At first did not open pressing X. Then opened by pressing X (PS3) after I read the inscriptions on the ground in a certain sequence. I'm not sure if it affected, but opened just after that.
