Hey, a quick FYI
The qk65 is 170 USD (for hotswap) BEFORE SHIPPING, which is around 43 dollars for CONUS, since it ships directly from CN. Might be something to consider if you want to build a budget board.

if you want the board to be more thocky, you should remove the silicone dampener and put either some polyfill, t-shirt or a thin piece of foam like pe sheet.

If your stabs feel mushy which I think your left shift might be you normally cut the pe foam where the stabs fit cause your already have the pre cut bandaids there

From my experience, the silicone dampener only does more harm than good for the board. It mutes the board like crazy. Those who just got this board, might as well just all the foams instead of the silicone itself.
