I think the problem here is that the DPWH and the local government focused mainly on improving the surface while neglecting the drainage system underground.

Flooded streets were already a problem when I was studying in Manila in the early 1970’s . Usually there was no jeepneys available during heavy rains because of flooded streets. I used to walk all the way home because of lack of transportation. The government should clean the drainage because they are clogged up.

Di pa ba naaayos drainage dito??? Alam naman siguro ng gobyerno at ng nga Tao na may rainy season ang Pinas bawat taon! Bakit Hindi na priority ang pag gawa ng pangmatagalan, pinag isipan at dekalidad na solusyon sa problema na to!!!🤔🤔🤔

It’s time to invest a good drainage system so next year will be ok if the super typhoon hit the Philippines again 😇it’s really sad to see this happening
