Bluey Theory: Did Bella have MORE BABIES after baby Coco??? 8 kids..wait no 9...no 12 😱!!!

Heres a new bluey theory for you cheeky dogs....did coco's mum Bella keep having more babies after baby coco in baby race? (that's a lot of babies!) The new wheres bluey christmas book makes it look like she did!

I am a big fan of bluey and with season 3a, 3b AND 3c airing in Australia, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. Bluey season 1 and 2 hit disney plus two months after airing in Australia so hopefully, all of season 3 will be out for everyone soon!

I absolutely ADORE the idea of Bella having more kids. Maybe the pins are hand-me-downs from the older siblings?

I grew up friends with a family that had 13 kids. So 12 poodles is probably more normalized to me than it should be. BUT I think I'm more comfortable head cannoning that they're nieces/grandpups. Bella got married young and had kids right away and maybe her oldest did the same so now Coco has nieces that are a few years younger than her. And with such a large family with such an early start to family life Bella and Mr. Bella probably help a lot and probably donated a lot of hand-me-down kiddie things that Coco doesn’t need anymore.

I think sloppy continuity work by the author(s) is the most likely answer.

Possibility #3: They are young cousins, visiting before Christmas.

You’re forgetting a possibility. They could be grand pups. Some of those kids are definitely teenagers. I’m going with they are grandkids that inherited the hair pieces.

I enjoy the logic that there poodles would have more kids, but I have to agree that this was animators not paying attention to continuity or being lazy, or both

Coco's dad needs to have a talk with Fido and Bandit. I mean, it'll be a shame to retire the myth and the legend, but the man needs a break. It's nice to see that poodles are being represented as powerful and fruitful, with great virile energy. And it's good to know that Bella and Mr. Bella have such a healthy, loving relationship. But I have to assume the spirit is willing but he's spongy and bruised. And we know those former careers came with good residuals.

I think/believe that Coco is the youngest. I would like to know about her family, like we did with others

The logical reason is most likely poor continuity. It would be interesting if perhaps her older sisters just haven’t grown much. Maybe they’re late bloomers compared to Coco? Probably not the case but it would be interesting to see the idea of older siblings not being taller than their younger ones. I always liked the detail that Bluey has a few friends who are either taller than her or as short as Bingo.
