thank for your fun video! My father told me the food you show, is actually more Bolognese (they eat more beans in Florence). He told me, in Florence they eat very, very good steaks called Fiorentina. It was the best I’ve ever had.

Useful and the way you say what is being prepared is making me hungry now. I really like these casual eateries which offer tasty meals. Btw i copied your recipe for pasta you made for your cali fam last christmas and made that same carbonara meal with eggs, cheese and boar cheek pancetta. Good job and great recommendation! As a local, Sabatino is one of my goto places since, well, forever. Ilaria, the owner seen running around with glasses and a ponytail in the video, is a true force of nature and -I believe- the third generation of the family running the restaurant. You're absolutely correct there's better restaurants in Florence but as far as quality/price goes, Sabatino is truly one of a handful -- and most importantly, what you get there is what you'd have at home -- and despite getting international attention since the late Anthony Bourdain filmed a special there years ago, it still preserves its character (and typed menus!).

To everyone planning a visit: save space for dessert, they're heavenly!
