We barely made it to the Netherlands Tulips season! Nevertheless, we explored it in a fun and very different way - with an eScooter bike! The Netherlands in spring is the most beautiful because of the tulips around. However, we went sometime in May, which means the tulips were almost completely cut and way over their blooming time!
That didn't stop us from exploring more of what the Netherlands had to offer, especially in the Lisse region of Hillegom. Here, we hopped on our trusty eScooter bikes and set off to explore the picturesque countryside.
As the Tulips Season comes to a close, we make our way to this hidden gem, the Keukenhof Castle. This charming castle is nestled amidst the lush gardens and vibrant flowers, offering a unique glimpse into the rich history and culture of the Netherlands. We also discovered a unique cafe, which used to be a historic train station in Lisse.
