Thousands of people descend on Amsterdam every spring to see the tulips bloom – and to take colorful photos surrounded by endless blossoms. DW's Diana Piñeros takes you to the famous Keukenhof and The Tulip Barn, two must-see destinations for flower lovers.

I went to Keukenhof way back in 1992 before Facebook, YouTube and Instagram so, the only memories I have are in my head and the pictures I took with my 35mm camera, as well as Polaroids. I wouldn't have had the opportunity to go there if I had not been in the U.S Army stationed in Rotterdam at that time. I also had the fortune of having gone to "FLORIADE", the floral an agricultural exposition held every 10 years in a different city every year. In 1992, it was held in Zoetemeer.

The Netherlands is very beautiful and I adore its good, peaceful people

And I wish I could visit her for one day, walk the streets.

And I have number one favorite Dutch team and I always hear the anthem so beautiful.

I visited this beautiful garden in 2009. We Indians can never forget that iconic tulip garden picturised in the iconic movie Silsila. Loved this place.❤❤

I first visited Keukenhof in 1989. The flowers were so beautiful. But my favorite memory was of watching the blackbird sing and hop around.
