Will John is a professional football player and has scored a lot of goals in his career, so if you want to become better at finishing and score goals, todays video will teach you just that, giving you tips on how to practice and what to do when you shoot. Here, you need to set up nicely for the finish and shot by getting the ball slightly away from you to take the shot. I frustrate myself at football because every week I do the hard stuff well, but then do the simple stuff badly. My dribblings my best strength as I can use both feet and have very close control and dribbling. But my finishing ironically is one of my worst. I only tend to score inside the box. Sometimes my finishing from close range is on point; often in the bottom corner almost perfectly, but when I get a little further away I struggle.

As a striker, a thing that I sometimes will do to trick a good goal keeper who saves my shots is to fake going far post (my personal more common shot area) and tangle them up in the near post instead. Here’s how:
if you are at a good angle to shoot far post (where the d meets the box for example) but you know that the keeper is ready to dive in that direction, run up to the ball straight on like you’re gonna hit it hard far post, but contact the ball in the bottom region next to your plant foot with the part of your foot between your laces and instep. The off-balance motion naturally puts Swazz on the ball, which (with practice) will fly right into the near corner. The goalie has no chance of reacting in time if they buy the trick. It can get you a lot of goals against goalies that seem unbeatable.

all i used to do was tun with the ball and just pass it to my teammates and they score.
now i only think of “just shoot just shoot” every time i’m running the ball and even if i miss i know that if i just shoot, it’ll eventually go in.
