I just walked into my doctor's office and an older woman had her phone on speaker with a scammer talking about Any Desk. I told her, That's a scam! The receptionist came into the waiting room and told her to hang up and she did. She'd downloaded Any Desk so I helped her uninstall it. I told her to watch your videos! Thank you for teaching me so I could use this to help others!! 👍🏼

today my father is about to get scammed, they told my father to install anydesk but my father gave his phone to me and said to download it..they were on call and told to to install the bank app and anydesk but then i realised why bank staff call us..and i suddenly remember scammers payback video where the scammer saying him to download anydesk...and afterthat i said do u know scammerpayback he said yes i know and then hang up😊my father was so happy that i saved his account but i will thank to scammer payback ...thank u sir 🥰

Hi I just got a scammer who I thought I was calling the number for Etsy to check a refund. I downloaded the app and gave him the code but did not accept trust or permission when the link popped up and the scammer got mad and hung up. I then deleted the app, am I good?

It might be a good idea to block access to these programs and their websites in the first place on a loved one's computer to prevent them from falling to these scams. This way they won't even be able to download what eventually does all the trick.
