Donna's recording career went beyond disco if you listen to all her albums. Such a perfect combination of presence, voice, grace, beauty and boundless talent.

I saw Donna Summer in concert when I lived in Florida, my aunt brought the tickets as a surprise for me, the 70s had some great music

It is still surreal to see her grave and know she is gone. I was such a big fan of hers growing up. She is gone as well as Micheal, Prince and Eddie Van Halen, Whitney just to name a few. All gone to soon. She now has grandchildren she never got to meet. Can you imagine growing up finding out that your grandmother is the queen of disco. BTW her song "I feel love" In 2011, the Library of Congress added it to the National Recording Registry as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically important". The Financial Times named it one of the most influential records, laying the foundations for electronic dance music. R.I. P queen of disco and thank you for sharing your gift.

Love Donna Summers ❣️
I'm Class of 79 and I still dig disco and rock roll of course. A lot of good sounds came out of the 70's 😊✌️

I loved when she played “Aunt Una from Altoona” Steve Urkel’s Shy Aunt on Family Matters. They gave her a makeover and turned her from nerd to hottie! And of course she blessed us with a song that episode too. RIP.

Donna came back to Germany in 1982 to do a show for the troops.

She was awesome!

She met with a bunch of us soldiers after the show to sign autographs and chit chat

Sadly the album she signed for me was later stolen.

RIP Donna.

Donna was such an amazing singer! Gorgeous too! I loved dancing to her music! So sad she’s passed. They must have some epic concerts in heaven with all the artists who have passed.
