Worst thing about Micro center only is that Micro center is only in USA. The rest of the world can't have a 7600X3D.

That's bad news on Intel. We need them in the mix.

IBM was huge once upon a time, I got a feeling Intel is going to share that fate, perhap they won't die out but perhaps they just be a shadow of their former selves in a few years time.

Intel selling off their fabs is a serious national security issue, not to mention it’s so bad for innovation and competition.

If Intel accepts bail-out money for their fabs and then sells the fabs, they should return the bail-out money!

Hats off for the great fallen:
Voodoo 3d
Sharky extreme
Hard OCP
Anadtech

Even the great slashdot is a hollow shell of what it once was.

I won't support Toms anymore either.

Point of order your comments about TSMC being a monopoly and leading to no new innovations is incorrect. They are a manufacturing facility. The "innovation" is done by the chip designers, in this case it would be AMD, Intel, Nvidia etc. The companies design the chips and TSMC builds them according to the blueprints the companies provide them. Still not a good idea to have 1 company doing everything (TSMC literally makes 90% of all CPU related chips in the world) but it won't stifle innovation because they don't design the CPU's, they just build what the companies bring them. Kinda like building a house, an architect "designs" the house and the company builds it according to the provided blueprints. The real trouble will happen if Intel goes out of business and AMD becomes the only mainstream CPU maker.... then we're all in trouble.

The main goal of a ceo is to get their bonus at the next. quarter. Everything else is irrelevant. Doesn't matter if the company goes under or anything else And the easiest way for them to get their next. quarterly bonus to go up is to screw over their customers employees. Infrastructure. and innovation. The things that are the building blocks of our entire country. Do you remember the phrase the customers always right?

Microcenter exclusive 7600X3D....again?! What about the rest of the planet?!

The 9000 Series were already 3-5% faster than their 7000 series counterpart to begin with. Then they got an 11% increase from the windows update, then another 13% on top of that with the TDP update. I'm considering getting a 9800X3D to replace my 7800X3D if it's a 20% or more increase in gaming performance. Why? Because I just like tech and I should be able to recoup the majority of the cost by selling my 7800X3D.

Price-performance ratios get blown apart when you can't buy a CPU without significant travel costs. Thanks AMD and MicroCenter. I'm starting to hate MicroCenter.

If there were up to five fabrication facilities, the price of the CPUs would be so much lower for all cup manufacturers and customers. And Bro! you have a Quality viewer base if you keep up with clickbaiting your going to be avoided and if you keep pissing us off with clickbaiting you might get canceled 😞 do NOT click bait us.

Isn't it amazing how far we've come with technology? It was just 40 or so years ago we stepped into this type of technology. Amazing, just amazing. 😊

I bought the Ryzen 5 7600 for my PC at home upgrading from Ryzen 5 5600, that I gave to my brother, PC now upgraded to Ryzen 7 5700X3D.
Actually there are new amazing CPUs that are able to run fine everything, and now I am already thinking to upgrade to that 7600X3D even is not launch yet. These are amazing comparing with the Ryzen 5 3600X that I had no long ago and I was very pleased with that.

Very Interesting. Let's hope this can make the chips perform more like they were expexcted too at the launch.
