Ukrainian officials once again say they will hold in-person meetings with a Russian delegation next week although it remains unclear where those talks will take place.

Negotiations between the two sides have so far gotten nowhere despite offers and efforts by other countries to mediate.

Ukraine has described previous talks with Russia, launched after Russia unleashed an invasion last month, as “very difficult.”

Seems to me that Ukraine can and should win. Conceed nothing. That will take out Putin too, internally. Compromise destroys Ukraine troop and civilian morale.
