My parents sent me to Monastery young. At 19 I left monastery to pursue my formal educations. By 26 i got a master degree in Finance, approved PR in USA - jobs lined up, was making very good doing trading and job salary. I was really happy but I always missed that part being Mindfulness creature at the monastery. At 31 I resigned from my job, took a one way trip to Dharamshala. Today I’m 34 a monk again & teach basic finance to Monks. Remember guys no god is coming to save you from your suffering, it’s your own actions today will make better or worse individual.

I was at the hotel door at the Marriott hotel in Delhi near the airport when the Dali lama came out of the hotel surrounded by security. He stopped to say hello to everyone outside. It felt very humbling to actually see him in person.

I love that they seem so free despite their lifestyles seeming restrictive to those with a more materialistic mindset. They're very self-aware and confront challenges with curiosity and examining themselves instead of trying to use external things to fix or fulfill them

"The mind is the instrument and the interactions with people are the creative process." A true creative at heart! Very interesting line of thinking.

The Dalai Lama recently celebrated his 89th birthday. Google who he is if you don’t know his life what he went through and he’s still happy.❤❤❤🙏

All of those monks basically shared almost the profound truth about life taking care mindfully of our mental wellbeing and not to fall into the trap of emotional entrapment by our unconscious ego mental behaviour.

This is the only knowledge and practice humanity eventually needs in order to attain a peaceful, healthy, happy and harmous coexistence of all being. Thank you very much for sharing the most essential part of life humanity has forgotten.

A consistent theme: "Don't care too much about what others think of you.". "Don't try to keep up.". "I wish I did what I wanted instead of what others' expected of me."

Regret is such an important aspect in Buddhism. It’s not the same as guilt. It’s lighter. It’s easier to work with. It’s easier to reflect on. It’s easier to take with us. hold your regrets close to your heart. Let them be your teacher. They will show you the dharma. Let the Dharma take you home.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏 the Buddha is the mind and the way goes nowhere❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
