Fine Brothers Entertainment trademark word REACT, and YouTubers are not happy. Pandora's box may have been opened regarding copyright, trademark, and ownership issues regarding videos on YouTube.

I hate the modern copyright laws.
They are trying to copyright every thought or simple idea a person has and then make money on that thought for years. Most of the thoughts of ideas are not original but are just the first to pay for a copyright.
I recently had to file a counter claim on a video of mine if my wife and I on a cruise ship. When we walked to the deck of the ship there was shitty rap music playing in the background that people were dancing to. YouTube removed the audio from my entire video because that music was heard for a few seconds in the background while I was narrating my video.
I did get the audio restored but I had to fill out a form and wait for YouTube to restore it.

These guys fell ass-backwards into a cheap way to make oodles of money with virtually no original content and virtually no creativity and that's not good enough for them. Now they want to basically own the concept. I can understand them wanting to protect their brand name, logos, etc. but they presented themselves as pioneers and culturally relevant heroes. Give me a break! And just for the record, we DO have a problem with rampant theft on the Internet. But people ripping off the FBs is the least of our worries.
